Build the vehicle that comes home.

Small team, real hardware, one airframe on the line in Titusville. We're hiring the people who'll take OV-009 through qualification and into the corridor.

The line · Titusville

Eleven people, one airframe, and a runway to come home to.

How we work

Four commitments
01

Hardware settles it.

Opinions are cheap on a program like this. We build the article and test it.

02

Small teams, whole problems.

You own a system end to end — design through test through the flight line.

03

Schedules are honest.

Spaceflight slips. We say so early rather than protecting a date nobody believes.

04

On the floor, not above it.

Engineers walk the bay. Leadership works the same hours as the crew.

Own the static-fire campaign that qualifies the BX-100 propulsion system. You'll write the test plans, run the stand, read the data, and tell the program what it actually means.

What you'll do

  • Plan and execute hot-fire and cold-flow campaigns on the qualification stand.
  • Own instrumentation, data acquisition, and post-test reduction.
  • Feed anomalies back into design with a clear, unhedged recommendation.
  • Take a turn on the console during integrated vehicle tests.

What you'll bring

  • 5+ years in liquid propulsion test, or equivalent hands-on program time.
  • Fluency with DAQ systems and real test-stand hardware, not just simulation.
  • Comfort making a call with imperfect data and defending it.

Reuse lives or dies on the thermal protection system. You'll own the tiles and seals that let OV-009 fly, land, and fly again inside 48 hours.

What you'll do

  • Own TPS design, analysis, and refurbishment procedures across the airframe.
  • Run arc-jet and thermal-cycle test campaigns on candidate materials.
  • Define the between-flights inspection standard the line crew will actually use.

What you'll bring

  • Experience with reentry thermal environments and ablative or reusable TPS.
  • Strong hands on both the analysis side and the shop floor.

Write the guidance and control software that flies the vehicle from ascent through reentry to an autonomous runway landing. Every line you ship gets flown.

What you'll do

  • Develop flight GNC algorithms in C++ for ascent, entry, and approach phases.
  • Build and maintain the six-degree-of-freedom simulation the whole program trusts.
  • Support hardware-in-the-loop testing and sit console for flight events.

What you'll bring

  • Strong C++ and control theory; flight-critical software experience preferred.
  • A bias toward simple, testable code over clever code.

Run the corridor. You'll own the procedures, the range relationships, and the crew that turns the vehicle around between flights.

What you'll do

  • Own launch and recovery procedures end to end, including the 48-hour turnaround.
  • Serve as primary interface to range, FAA, and corridor partners.
  • Build and train the line crew; hold the standard when the schedule pushes.

What you'll bring

  • Launch operations or military flight-line leadership experience.
  • Calm under a compressed clock and a real willingness to call a hold.

Lay up and finish the primary structure of a vehicle that has to survive orbit and come back intact. Craft work, on real flight hardware.

What you'll do

  • Hand lay-up, bagging, and autoclave cure of primary composite structure.
  • Bond, trim, and finish assemblies to flight tolerance.
  • Work directly with design engineers to make parts actually buildable.

What you'll bring

  • 3+ years aerospace composites experience; A&P or equivalent a plus.
  • Pride in finish quality nobody but you would notice.

Be the single point of contact between a customer's payload and our flight line — from first enquiry through integration to on-orbit operations.

What you'll do

  • Own customer missions end to end: requirements, integration, schedule, delivery.
  • Translate between payload teams and the flight line without losing either.
  • Support Launch Services Agreement negotiation and export-control review.

What you'll bring

  • Space mission management or payload integration experience.
  • The judgment to deliver bad schedule news early and clearly.
